Toby Sussex is an indie folk-pop singer-songwriter based in Te Whanganui-a-Tara. Originally from Whakatū-Nelson, Toby moved up to pursue music at Massey University in 2021. Most recently, he released his debut EP, Weather Dependent, on 24th May to an exciting response – Toby is stoked to return home to celebrate this at The Boathouse. Fellow top-of-the-south singer-songwriter turned Wellingtonian, Lucy Summerfield, joins Toby for this evening of original music. Lucy and Toby also worked together to produce her latest gem of a single, Fruit Tea, in 2023.
