Celebrate the Brazilian Harvest Festival on the dance floor with Brazilian Social Club! A 5 piece band bringing the vibrant rhythms of Brazil! 
It’s a night of Quadrilha (square dance), Forró, and Xóte rhythms for dancing and partying with Nelson’s Brazilian community! Festa Junina, also called the Festa de São João holiday, is a traditional Brazilian harvest festival that takes place in June. It is practiced mainly by rural farmers, known as caipiras or matutos, and celebrates the end of the rainy season, rural life, and the beginning of the harvest.We encourage you to dress up in traditional style! 
Here’s how: Rural farm style: large straw hats, colourful checked shirts, floral dresses, pigtails with ribbons. Wear your best smile and have fun!
