Janine Mitchell is a singer songwriter from Wellington who performs heartfelt songs, both originals and covers, in the 60’s/70’s era folk genre. With her guitar and fine lyrical vocals, she sings about Environmental and Social issues that are close to her heart. Janine is accompanied by Jack (vocals and lead guitar) Kevin (vocals and mandolin / harmonica), and Pete (vocals and percussion).

After recording an album of original songs (“Etched in My Soul”) with these talented musician friends, she formed the Haewal Collective Band, who perform regularly in various venues across Wellington, as well as in other New Zealand towns.
