Hobnail are a Wellington institution. In 2019 they celebrated their 25th anniversary with a 5 star (music.net.nz) Best Of album and a national tour that saw them playing to full houses all over NZ. The Hobnail Trio is founding members Rob Joass (vocals, guitar and mandolin) and Jo Moir (vocals and violin) together with the multi talented Hamish Graham (vocals, guitar, baritone guitar, percussion).

Hobnail has won considerable acclaim over their career, having headlined everywhere from Canada to Norfolk Island, Auckland to Gore.
